SOMETIMES IT IS SIMPLY LIKE LEARNING A SPORT, BABYSITTING, OR TUTORING. WHEN ONE LOOKS DEEPER AND CARES ENOUGH TO CONTRIBUTE, IT BECOMES ABOUT GIVING HOPE WHERE THERE IS NONE, PURPOSE WHEN IT DOESN’T APPEAR TO EXIST, AND CULTIVATING HUMANITY AT A LEVEL THAT CHANGES THE WORLD FOR ALL OF US.
At the Y nobody is turned away due to inability to pay. This is due, in part, to you and other individuals who care enough to donate to the work we do. The Y is about building the community of the future. It is about finding opportunity where opportunity does not currently exist. It is about hope where some feel there is none, but most importantly, it is about people. When we stand together we can become part of a story that is amazing and resounds through the heart of a community for generations to come.
